Yep you’d think. One of the individuals I met with said it was really complicated and that I didn’t understand. I replied to say it’s pretty simple Wasps agree to rent the pitch, ccfc agree to pay an amount to be agreed and Sisu sign it off. Can’t take more than a day surely as the rest can be resolved later.
And some of you people accuse me of being naive!!!!! Lol
The one thing that annoys me is ccc taking an interview with cwr. To say what amounted to about time and we had nothing to do with it. Lol
Simon has clearly received good solid information so he’s a journalist and fan and he’s shared what he’s been told so no axe with him
Think ccfc have been clear what they desire and it’s been clear for a while that conversations have been progressing and that there were no large insurmountable problems to resolve but these things take time and with no fans where’s the urgency?
I would imagine wasps and ccfc are as frustrated with someone giving details to the media as we are. How good would it have been for a joint press conference tomorrow or whenever where a long term agreement is announced and a new era of mutual beneficial use of the Ricoh is announced from next season?
Having said that I’m sure there’s plenty of people who know enough people for titbits and rumours to leak out. Pretty sure for Simon to publish stuff it’s a little bit more than rumour.
Also pretty sure that the parties have not sought to leak any information prior to any announcement
