We need a couple of impact players to bring off the bench, exactly like what Blackpool have just done, bring Phillips and bednar on and they make the difference

Yep. Doesn't help when the bit of experience we've brought in is dropping clangers too either.

We do need a couple of loan players though, agreed. Preferably Messi and Van Persie, but failing that anyone.

And he also said that hindsight is a great thing. Which is exactly why you were quiet until you came on to tell us what should have been changed!

Exactly. If we'd won you wouldn't have from Duffy at all - because he hates that.

It's another case of the opposition having a better bench than us. We just can't compete with that.

We have just gone a further point behind 4th from bottom. Doesn't matter about Doncaster and Forest. They are not the teams we have to catch. We need to catch 4th from bottom and look to the teams that are 5th and 6th from bottom. Another game gone and we are back to 7 points adrift, I don't see how you can put any positive spin on it. Millwall in 6th from bottom slot are now 9 points clear of us and Bristol in 5th from bottom, 8 poinst clear of us.

Haha not at all.

I actually switched on the radio with 5 mins left and put a bet on with my mates that we'd lose 2-1.

Oliver Norwood possesses both the vision and passing accuracy required to be creative in the centre of midfield.

Born in Burnley, Oliver was one of the youngest first-year scholars when taken on in the summer of 2007. Even then he showed plenty of ability and, according to United’s Under-18s coach Paul McGuinness, had the "ability to change games".

Not only is Norwood an intelligent footballer, but he's combative and never shy to try his luck from distance. His nine goals in 28 Academy appearances in 2008/09 led to a promotion to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's Reserves, where he shone throughout 2009/10.

A set-piece specialist, Oliver signed professional forms

with the club in July 2009, and has represented Northern Ireland at full and Under-21 level.

His fine displays have prompted high praise from senior squad manager Nigel Worthington. "The lad is a genius," says Worthington. "He is going to be a very good player. What he can do with the ball from free-kicks is remarkable."

After a spell on loan at Carlisle in 2010/2011, he was snapped up by Scunthorpe to spend several months with The Iron on a temporary basis until January 2012.

With his passing catching the eye at Reserves level at the end of the previous season, it's expected he'll be

It's difficult to keep being a Coventry City fan on nights like this-really feel for those who've made the journey up to watch that.

This is our problem and the main diffefence on winning and losing. We are playing against teams that have a bench that would walk into our team

Sorry, last post seemed to miss most of the gist of my last point.

I was replying to Otis, can't be bothered to repeat it all, but essentially a win against Ipswich is essential and will put us back in contention, as I see it our current aim is to get to 22nd place and then play the game from there, other teams will lose form.

Yep, understand that. Tonight though we have just dropped a further point behind 4th from bottom.

Yet another last gasp, last minute defeat and Ipswich thrashing West Ham. May be wrong, but tonight could be the straw that broke the camel's back. Our morale must have hit rock bottom again after tonight. We now need to pick up the team once again. Any time we have a win or two now it is quickly nullified and we are back to square one each time and tonight we have dropped a further point from safety.

Not got even half way through these posts, its way too early to be reading so much, but as ive just got back thought id have my say;

Not sure what Hreidersson was doing for the equaliser. Looked like he tried to intercept a pass but missed it completely. Then was too slow to recover.

Thorns decision to take off Nemily for Wood and go defensive was as bizarre as any other bizarre decision i have seen him make! If his intention was to sit back and defend, this should have been done BEFORE the equaliser, not immediately after it.

All game we let Blackpool pass the ball about. We didnt deserve to take the lead, but as we did, it was AT's job to make sure we held onto it!

Yes he can say we played for 87 minutes, which is slightly more than we usually play for, but our own mistakes have cost us!

The winner came from Platt being up front on his own, and then yet another awful piece of goalkeeping from Murphy, who was lucky to be on the pitch at that point! Why he was having the tussle with the BFC players after the equaliser ill never know! And to raise your arms like he did, was a very silly decision.

All in all, very disappointing evening. We could have so easily came away with 1, if not all 3 points (albeit we didnt deserve the 3, but without our 2 gifts, we may have nicked them).

I was glued to the phone at work watching the live text updates on the bbc website. With 5 minutes to go i said to my mate "this is where we fuck it up"....goal.
At 1-1 i said "this is where we REALLY fuck it up".....bang 2-1.Even from 10,000 miles away it had that air of inevitability about it.

Really fucked my day up at work i can assure you :jerkit:

Piece of shit Sky Blue Army.As someone posted earlier sometimes it really is difficult to keep the faith with CFCC.
