Yeah I noticed at the end it had the note that the statute was waived for sexual assault so he swiftly wrote a cheque, I know people say settling isn't necessarily an admission of guilt but seems pretty clear cut in this case. I know he's approaching 80 but in the modern interviews with him he's got a Weekend at Bernie's vibe to him, dead behind the eyes but someone's still operating him

Watched the first episode of The Penguin last night, really enjoyed it and I didn’t get on with Gotham so only watched one season of that.

Also watched the first two episodes of Agatha All Along, which was better than I expected given recent Marvel TV shows.

Finished The Vinnie Mc doc this morning, Cracking watch, if not awkward at times.

Would've loved it to go even deeper on the stuff with Shane/Stephanie though, fascinating dynamic.

I watched a great series last year called Monday night Wars - all about the WCW/WWE rivalry, well worth a watch for anyone who grew up through the Attitude era

Enjoyed Deadloch on Prime. Aussie crime comedy, took an ep or two to warm up but a good suprise. Been renewed for a second season

I watched Speak No Evil last night. James Mcavoy hamming it up as a creepy farmer/Doctor. Genuinely hadnt realised that his accent was supposed to be from the West Country until the final few scenes.
It was ‘alright’.
6 or 5/10

I think there’s an original foreign version, which I might try and find as they seem to often be better. For evidence of this watch Infernal Affairs, Spoorlos, Let the Right One In etc etc etc.

And so concludes my film review of ‘Speak No Evil’.

Yeah....well, same, but I am now up to season 4 and just watched a most ridiculous episode. Shame, it's been great up to now. Won't say which episode, as don't want to give anything away or spoil it

I understand artistsic license and creating thrills and tension, but honestly, it was like watchung Arnie as the Terminator. A killing machine that couldn't be stopped and couldn't be killed.

My missus and I have loved it until now, but both felt the same. That it was just plain silly and utterly ridiculous.

Hope it's a minor blip and they get back on track real soon. 🤞
