I'm a huge "blues" music lover, particularly early stuff - Howlin' Wolf etc., so I was absolutely thrilled when I watched "Sinners" on Sky Cinema. Okay, so it involves vampires, but the music? Wow! It blows you away! Early blues mixed in with a bit of Irish folk. Amazing! I watched it a few nights ago and today, watched it again! Oh, and I've downloaded the soundtrack. Give it a watch if you like that sort of music.
Sinners is fucking ace, my favourite film of 2025. Been enjoying the latest series of The Traitors.
Looks like they've improved the daytime challenges so far as that was always the boring bit imo and they now include a bit more scheming and drama.
Not sure what the point of the "secret" traitor was though if they just unveiled who it was so early. Would have been a lot more interesting if they weren't ever revealed to the public until they get voted out or the final
I love the traitors, but wasn't keen on not knowing who the secret traitor was.
It felt too me like it was taking something away as you were constantly second guessing everything. Was glad when it was ditched, and I feel like the series has picked up since
28 years later the bone temple
Ralph Fiennes is a monster of an actor
lol if you like a less artistic film and more traditional plot then yes it isGoing at the weekend.
Please tell me it`s better than 28 yrs Later, which I thought was dreadful ?
I've never watched a single minute of Traitors. Just doesn't appeal to me. Enlighten me to a reason for watching it. Sell it to me.Been enjoying the latest series of The Traitors.

More chod for a dumbed down society.
Umming and Ahhhing about going to see this first one was a classic of its genreWe watched 28 Days and 28 Weeks over the weekend in preparation to watch 28 Years at home and Bone Temple at the cinema. The drop in quality from Days to Weeks was stark and pretty alarming, Days remains an incredible film all these years later, Weeks is crawling with plot holes and contrivances, the performances are all awful and the opening sequence to the rest of the film is like day and night, most like because Danny Boyle himself directed the opening sequence and nothing else.

It's the psychology I like about it. Human interaction and behaviour in a restricted environment.I just think it's an interesting premise for a show, and I like seeing all the scheming/backstabbing and how the non-traitors are always so far off with their theories.
It's reality TV at the end of the day, so it comes with the usual annoying dramatic music and some contestants trying to be big characters, but I've watched every series so far, and the celebrity version actually had a half decent cast.
There's usually a good mix of personalities as well in the non-celebrity version (ex-detective/police, barristers, builders, etc).

It's like Big Bother, which was actually excellent for the first series, until people cottoned on they could just get famous instantly.
I'm sure Traitors will go the same way, but for now, it's still refreshing and new.
Have noticed contestants being a lot more vocal and outspoken in this series though.
I suspect Harriet's exit was a bit of that, going from silent assassin to mad fucker in the space of a single episode can't have hurt searches and sales. It's the psychology I like about it. Human interaction and behaviour in a restricted environment.

Yeah I do find it slightly sad that they keep playing up the STAGGERING jackpot of FIFTY THOUSAND POUNDS when most of the contestants know they can make that in a handful of paid appearances if they play their cards right.I suspect Harriet's exit was a bit of that, going from silent assassin to mad fucker in the space of a single episode can't have hurt searches and sales.
Took the boy to watch the first one when it was out. He’d have been about 7. Absolutely scared the shit out of him.Took the kids to see Zootropolis 2 last weekend, thought it was a great watch, think I enjoyed it more than the kids, the first one is worth a watch too.
Mine was the same. I reckon she must have been 6 or 7 when she first saw The Exorcist.Took the boy to watch the first one when it was out. He’d have been about 7. Absolutely scared the shit out of him.
Youth of today mate…dunno they’re born! Can you imagine them in the trenches etc etc.Mine was the same. I reckon she must have been 6 or 7 when she first saw The Exorcist.
No backbone, some kids, have they.
I’m definitely gonna give that a go.The Coffee Table ( Spanish with subs )
A friend recommended this to me and told me nothing about it, other than it was an ultra dark comedy horror and not to read anything about it, which I didn`t.
The film is about a bickering middle aged Spanish couple, who have a new born baby c/o of IVF, who live completely normal hum drum, day to day lives in an un named part of Spain.
All I can say about this film, is that after the opening act, it leaves you very much with a decision, as to whether you really want to carry on watching it ( I did ).
I`m not going to give anything away, but I`ve seen some bad stuff over the years and this up there with them.
The " dark comedy " elements come after the opening act, as just when you think things can`t get any worse for the couple, things just carry on escalating.
The final act, then plunges you back into the realms of darkness, same as the first.
It`s very well acted and put together and I`m sure it`ll win some indie film making awards, but it`s certainly not a film that I`ll be watching again.
It would possibly be the best film, that I wouldn`t recommend to anyone !
Ya I used forward the challenges. This year is a slight improvement.Been enjoying the latest series of The Traitors.

I'd like some kind of sabotage element to it, like the traitors having their own sneaky sidepot where the lost winnings from tasks go insteadYa I used forward the challenges. This year is a slight improvement.
The round table is 10/10 TV. They need to find a way to improve the challenges

Glad you enjoyed it Jim. Totally different pace to the first, could tell it was directed by someone different.Just been to see it.
The franchise is well back on track, really enjoyed it and the Iron Maiden Number of the Beast scene with Fiennes and O`Connell was spell binding.
Ralph Fiennes brilliant, Jack O`Connell brilliant and seems to have found a new niche, as the British Nicolas Cage
Nicely set up for a really good third.
Glad you enjoyed it Jim. Totally different pace to the first, could tell it was directed by someone different.
That Iron Maiden scene is superb.
Yes 100% clearly going to play a factor. A lot of build up with that for that final scene of the Alpha to be it.Much more simple and back to basics, what the franchise is all about.
I`m really interested to see where they go with the Alpha in the next one.
