I found it all a little underwhelming, unfortunately. My missus did too.

Too fantastical and unbelievable and ridiculous, for our liking.

Shame. Thought it was good until the last two episodes, when it went into Terminator/Jason Bourne/Mission Impossible territory.

Yes EastEnders was creeping in there also!

Watched that Blink Twice last night.

Bit of a slow start but enjoyed it in the end and very apt with everything that is going on.

Worth a watch.

I watched both series over the weekend & thought it was very good and Alma's mother was brilliant. I have no experience of prison/drug/care services but if that's what they are like then they really do need sorting.

Can you binge this Otis or is it once a week?

i went to see it on saturday. not sure i agree with the tag that it's a musical. there's music in it, but it's not the sound of music.
i really enjoyed it, and this is someone who doesn't like lady gaga. jp is absolutely outstanding, as he was in the first one.

keep an open mind.
don't read any more reviews.
just go and enjoy it!

An old film but "A City of Life and Death" is a really hard watch.
It's about the Japanese army taking the city of Nanking in 1937 during the Sino-Japanese war.
Unfortunately based on true events.

I watched EastEnders last night ,seemed to borrow from a true life tragedy, the overcrowding issue at a concert resulting in death and injury and the immoral actions of selling tickets on (fake)!

Yeah....well, same, but I am now up to season 4 and just watched a most ridiculous episode. Shame, it's been great up to now. Won't say which episode, as don't want to give anything away or spoil it

I understand artistsic license and creating thrills and tension, but honestly, it was like watchung Arnie as the Terminator. A killing machine that couldn't be stopped and couldn't be killed.

My missus and I have loved it until now, but both felt the same. That it was just plain silly and utterly ridiculous.

Hope it's a minor blip and they get back on track real soon.

Take the Gary Oldman character out of Slow Horses and it would be crap (imo)......am I the only person who reckons he's based his appearance on Shadrach Dingle.

It must certainly wouldn't be half the show without Oldman for sure.

What show could you take the lead character out of and it’s just as good?

You'd have to dislike the main character as generally the lead often makes the show. I'm not a fan of Ricky Gervais so I'd take him out of the Office(its been done I know).
Bradley Walsh out of the chase, to cheesy/slapstick for me

Game of Thrones depending on who you think is the main character maybe? The side characters in that usually have my favourite storylines.

It's a good question though, TV shows especially are usually dependant on the main character and fall apart if they're ever replaced (The US Office and Vikings come to mind)

Well Ned Stark was clearly the central character and they wiped him out after episode 9 of 73.

Great first season, very much hoping for a second. Seems to have been a surprise hit, in as much as a series on Apple TV can be a hit when they never promote them and hardly anyone has the service.

Was that based on a true story?
Turned out to be a female relative?

Just watched the first 30mins of the Office, Aussie version. Absolute rubbish. The Uk version was so original but this is just cringeworthy.

Yeah, heard some very scathing reviews of this. Best to steer well clear.

There's so many red flags she ignored.
