Just wondering if you could advise which are the best pubs for away fans to go into before the game?

Depends what your looking for?Bull and anchor allow away fans in ,you can get food in there about 15 minute walk to ground.

As much as anything I'm looking for recommendations for all Town fans. I've linked here from the Huddersfield Town forum so people can make their own decisions based on what they want.

Palmerspoons has just opened 5 minutes from the ground, very generous to opposition supporters but expensive drinks and your pint ends up getting switched from side to side in front of you before it’s given away to another punter.

If they were coming down early then an afternoon in the City Centre would be the best advice where there are numerous decent pubs and restaurants . Then just catch a bus / Uber to the stadium .
