Best game you've ever been too (3 Viewers)

87 Cup final doesnt count. I'll start.

Beating West Brom 1-0 90th min at HR Super Johnny Jackson. That was quality. Obviously OT was good aswell. Also beating Man City 4-3 at HR, Big Mo!

Not having all that many to choose from....

Beating Arsenal 3-2 on Boxing Day at Highfield Road, 99-00 season.

Still unmatched as my all time favourite sporting experience.

My all time favorite sport experience is being at Cheltenham the day Hurricane Fly regained The Champion Hurdle and Quevega won her 5th mares hurdle.

The first time we beat Villa was great, remember Oggy getting the "the whats the score" chant when we were 2 up and without turning round he just stuck out 2 fingers on one hand.

Forest 5-4 cup game was a cracker but not good for anyone's stress levels.

Beating Blackburn at their place in the cup. Played brilliantly that day and me and my mate were seen celebrating one of the goals like mad on MOTD that night. Quality day out!

Coc 2 - Spurs 1 at White Hart Lane to stay up against all odds and Oggy making save after save in the last 15 mins.

3-2 at home to united, playing against Beckham Scholes Giggs et al, 2-1 with 5 mins to go, one of my earliest memories of the city

I'm only 15 so I've never really experienced the highs of our history, but with that I will say United away 2-0! Then for drama it's got to be the Preston JPT match where we score 2 in injury time

2-1 WHL, May 11th 1997.

That quite simply will never be bettered. Life isn't supposed to be that good for a City fan. Unforgettable.

That save by Oggy in the last minute seemed to happen in slow motion.

West Ham semi will take some beating but one or 2 others which probably not get a mention are from the late 70s ,
v Man c won 4-2, what a game against what was a great side 77-78
v man u won 4-3 78-79
and another was the FAC v West brom 2-2. The one thing which connects these is that they were night games with big crowds, these memories keep me going.

Norwich at home. 77? won 5-4. Last minute penalty save from Blyth. 3 penalties scored by the teams, early goal set the game in motion. Did Wallace score an overhead kick that day? Not sure.

Forgot about the disallowed goals as well....2 for city 1 for Norwich?....Truly memorable.

West Ham Cup game was memorable too. Garry Thomson's efforts, 36903 fans in HR. What a game.

Some great games so far remembered there.

Several epic battles with Tottenham & Liverpool. Man Utd 2-0 away in the League Cup with my kids. 3-0 Away at Arsenal with a Micky Quinn Hat Trick. The 5-4 Classic with Norwich at Highfield Road & also 3-2 League Cup Semi against West Ham. Even beating the mighty Bayern Munich in the 1970 season in the Fairs Cup.

But for me the FA Cup Semi Final at Hillsborough coming from behind to beat Leeds 3-2 to send us to Wembley for the very first time.

Other than the Final, I have never felt emotion or euphoria like it following a football match.

Pity our current owners don't share the same connection & feelings for our Club that we fans do.

They would do well to remember that they are only Custodians on behalf of the fans!

Keep Cov in Cov! LAST! PUSB!

There was a Sunday game - the first ever at HR I seem to remember against Brum in the 80s. 4-4. The Forest 5-4 was good as was the Norwich one. The quarter and semi finals at Hillsborough too were wonderful.

The semi final especially was weird as I experienced all emotions. I felt sick - really sick for most of the game while we were 1-0 down until Gynny scored - then after that it was brilliant. I was suffering from vertigo too because of their stand - it's bloody steep.

sky blues 5 forest 4 i think livingston got 4 of the goals and brian clough was going mental...we was 4-0 up at one point but forest fought back to 4-4...twas a good game

most gutted was at forest when steve hodge pushed gynny in the wall as phyco scored from a free kick...was it the 1/4 of the league cup, im sure we lost...my memory is shit too many nights spent in the eclipse

Man did that make the young NLHWC angry. Possibly my first ever instance of swearing at the telly. I'm still mad about it, tbh

It was the semi I think, but the first leg. We lost 2-1 and then drew 0-0 back at highfield road.
I seem to remember Steve LIvinstone scored for us at the city ground. If only......
