There was a mid 90s one where Gurney got particularly excited. I think its Southampton at home on New Years day. Can't remember it verbatim but its something like.... "Whelan, still Whelan, past another defender, Whelan, great solo run this , into the box...(moment of silence)...OH WHAT A FANTASTIC GOAL!"

I took a girlfriend to that game. She'd never been to football before, didn't really care for it and wasn't local to us but by the end, she was chanting "WHELAN, WHELAN" along with the rest of us.
