Right... trying to look on the positive side or looking whilst away with the fairies.. whichever, what is the best case scenrio that could happen in next 6-8 weeks...

for me... Sisu sell to Hoffman consortium. Ranson comes back as chairman with Hoffman taking a role on board. Club either re-negotiate rent with ACL for Ricoh or purchase a 50% stake. Bring in Billy Davies as manager and give him 10m to spend over next 12 months... stay up and build for future!

Is that too far fetched?!?

Trying to think best case scenario, but part of me is thinking if they don't hurry up and do this sharpish then how likely is it that a billionaire would like to buy a League One club!!

Said the same thing a while ago otis the worse it gets team wise/division any potential buyer will be less likely to want to invest in a lower league team.
Feel they need it this transfer window get some bodies in change some staff and get the team moving and you never know, climb the table the best we can and have a big shake up in the summer for next year.

Would they really be less likely to invest in L1?

Look at Leeds, Norwich, Soton, Leicester, Forest, etc. who all came up and had great seasons in the Championship boosting attendances and it's no doubt cheaper getting up from there than making us competitive in the Championship form where we are.

Coming up with a decent crowd, a team on form and a feel good spirit might just be better than turning around a club on the brink in the Championship basically.

The hard thing is getting up from there though. I remember us saying the same thing when we were relegated from the prem... And look how that's turned out. Typical Cov

purchase a business ?
but before that,
? assets, liabilities, potential,
in CCFC case i'd be thinking,
assets, could be hugely increased,
liabilities, could, and should, be controlled to suit the situation,
potential, enormous in consideration of basics, like catchment area,
however the clever factor would be to 'speculate to accumulate' in a measured manner,
i.e. cut your cloth accordingly,
in the case of 's*su', they sold the cloth at less than cost price,
in my humble opinion, it speaks volumes for their ? business acumen,
i'd think, if they were honourable, they would make a dignified exit,
doubt that will happen though,
