Thought this was a good video and fair summary, particularly from Sam Parkin -

Pretty fair analysis and their consensus is that we’ll still win the league. They hit the nail on the head when speaking about our bench v Birmingham. With depth like that, it’s reasonable that our form would take a hit during the busiest period of the season.

Now we’ve got 4 wingers and hopefully more to come I’m confident we’ll dust ourselves off and finish the job.

Same, I'm glad they acknowledged why the team have had a drop in form rather than gone for hysterically saying we're falling apart and have bottled the season.

Anyone who's fair minded and been to our games would have seen the following:
1. Edged the first half v Ipswich away before a goal against the run of play, they avoided what should’ve been a 2nd yellow
2. PNE - they scored their only big chance and we should've scored 2-3
3. Southampton - probably should've been 2-0 up before the red card, the better team in the first half
4. Ipswich (h) - should've had a penalty on Wright, but will admit we were outclassed on the day
5. Charlton - poor concede to concede from Brau
6. Birmingham - thin bench, Birmingham score 100% of their shots on target - stonewall penalty against EMC not given

Right there, PNE, Southampton and Charlton are the three games that were draws but should've been wins. Some favourable officiating decisions probably change the results in the games we lost. It's not been as simple that we've 'bottled it', no one was saying that when Boro were winless in 4 before beating Southampton...

Even my Birmingham supporting colleague has said he's glad they've played us now because we're strengthening the squad again - 'you should go up and get that free season ticket'.

Completely agree. Luckily we also had such a good run that it's given a cushion so this drop in form hasn't been too detrimental.
Still confident on automatics

This guy absolutely loves us. He has raved about us all season and has confidently predicted that we will go up. Its quite satisfying have him blow smoke up our asses when he is an Ipswich fan.

Our recent record against Ipswich P5 L5
No wonder he likes us!

Something about the faces Football vloggers pull in the thumbnails for their videos really annoys me - there must a reason to do this that I'm not understanding because they all do it. Might put it in the things that annoy you thread

It’s something to do with the YouTube algorithm. Certain thumbnails perform better than others and will get your videos pushed to more people for whatever reason. The style they all use is the one that works.

Just watched the second tier podcast and what are those guys issues with Lampard and us. Despite beatingPreston 3-0 they had to have a little snipe that we didnt win by more because of how poor Preston are and then had a little bitch at Lmpard when they said we had probably won promotion

PNE weren’t so much a poor team, we were just comprehensively a better team.

We should’ve won by more but we also considered the game done after the penalty and cleared the bench by 65-70m? This is when Lampard tends to start making subs.

Same, drives me mad. Seems to be a thing the majority of Youtubers do now, probably helps with viewers or the algorithm.
It actually puts me off watching some videos when the content itself could be good

xG of 4 according to Fotmob, is that our highest of the season?
No, Sheff Wednesday was 4.94 xG but does that really count?

PNE is not revised to 3.92 and there’s a couple of games with that range, such as Norwich (h) which was 3.60 (or so) and I think 1 other game

Is it a simple as the main one is a Derby fan and never forgiven Frank after buggering off when they fucked up the playoffs? Derby are a bit Big Club deluded and were quick to warn us that Frank would be off this season "when a big club comes calling In January"

Bloom out of all them is very balanced and I quite enjoy his videos compared to others which are nonsense.

Yeah he's really good. You'd never even know who he supported if he didn't mention it, there's no bias.
Even during our little blip, he gave a balanced view saying not to write us off just yet

I thought they set up extremely negatively. So deep, offering up loads of space in midfield while leaving the front two isolated. Beyond that, they just didn’t look up for it.

It was a real ‘on the beach’ performance.
