you really think there would have been no club without SISU? We had, what was it? 7 offers for a homeless league 1 team in a complete mess this year. When SISU bought us, we were a reasonable championship team with a premier league quality stadium (albeit rented - but with an option to buy into the (leasehold) ownership at a favourable rate.

we would have had a buyer if we had gone into admin back then. No doubt in my mind at all!

How many were serious offers? At the time were there other offers than sisu?

We are sky blue fans after all, the relegation battles, the ups, the downs we have had to be optimists, what else have we got right now. Where City are concerned my glasses are always rose tinted, SISU not so, but they own/owe us. And im hopefull things will turn around.

All i/we want is Cov in Cov and winning, does it matter who owns them right now, as long as we go in the right direction, long term plans with presley at the helm, the signs are good so far, SISU, the Council/ACL im on the fence they have all proved to be as bad as each other over the last 18mnths. If were successfull with SISU so be it, if were successfull with another owner great. What happens if they do come good, were back at the Ricoh playing great football everythings rosy, will the haters still be haters? Are they gonna cut of their nose to spite their face?

If we are successful within the next 5 years its irrelevant anyway as the club we currently support are not Coventry.

All CCFC fans would prefer to see the team lose every week in Coventry over winning in Northampton, unless they are some sort of plastic glory supporter.

I would say at least 3 were serious. And when SISU took over we weren't in administration... Had we gone into administration, I'm sure there would have been more offers.

Bloody Robinson & McGinnity saw a chance to recover some of their losses as the deal with SISU included a £6M(from memory) payment if they got promoted to the Premiership within a certain time.. but in the end they "were let down" by SISU changing course when they parted company with Ranson & giving up on their promotion bid.

I believe Robinson may still owe £250,000 to help cover the rent arrears, I have no sympathy for the man.

Care to elaborate?

Wow, so the people that go to show their support at Sixfields are all plastic glory supporters, all the guys that go to the away matches too?

We are not mk dons, we wont be, we will back.

Why would I be pleased about a Northampton based team doing well?

Those that would rather we stay at Sixfields and win, or play in Coventry and lose are plastic glory supporters.
