Would be a free transfer if we brought him in during January 😍

A no risk option! (Unless we give him a 4 year contract like we gave to Rapha)

Personally I won't believe a word of it until Alan Nixon says its happening.

Kairat player Azamat Tuyakbaev has attracted the attention of the English Championship leader

The footballer may get a chance to move to one of the strongest European championships.

Young player Azamat Tuyakbayev of Almaty's Kairat has attracted the attention of European clubs and scouts from English Championship leader Coventry City, BAQ.KZ reports , citing Sports24.kz .
Representatives of the club, coached by former Chelsea and England midfielder Frank Lampard, watched the 18-year-old winger during a UEFA Youth League match against Sporting Lisbon. Tuyakbayev scored twice in that match, significantly increasing the British side's interest in him.
A promising footballer could get a chance to move to one of the strongest European championships and the opportunity to work under a renowned coach.

He's played 26 minutes of senior football since he joined in January 2025. In the mighty Kazakhstan Premier League.

Contract runs out in December 25. One for the u21s, I'd guess.

If he is playing well in the European Youth Champions League against teams like Sporting Club then maybe he could have something about him.

I'm sure he has something about him. I'm just saying he's played 26 mins for Almaty in 25 odd matches, in the Kazakhstan Premier League. So I guess they don't see him ready to play in that league/standard and we shouldnt be expecting him to be signing for the first team.

Come on. Don’t crush dreams. Obviously what’s going to happen is we are going to big him up to the point where when he moves to a new country and a completely incomparable style and level of football and then fails to score 20 goals in his first season and then we’re going to declare him an abject failure both as an individual and evidence of a systemic failure of of our scouting, analytics and coaching staff, and our entire philosophy of transfers and squad building.
