Away Game Question (3 Viewers)

Hi

New to this board and just have a general enquiry re away matches. Being a girl, I don't really have friends that are into football so it is a major effort to get them to the Ricoh with me, let alone an away game! Usually I would go to away games with my brother and his friends but I'm not really welcome to away games as they are more of a boys day out which is fair enough.

Anyway, question is does anybody know of any sort of away travelling group or anything for ladies or even blokes that struggle to find people to travel to away games with like I do? I'm already gutted I can't make Brighton this weekend!

Thanks

Probably a good place to let it be known on here.

I'm sure someone will be able to help.

My sister has the same problem when we go to away games. She has to just join in and become one of the lads :)

Good qusetion though, Not heard of any sort of groups myself but I'm sure there's quite a few people in a similar postion. Good luck!

there's always the club coaches. I live down in Pompey and don't know of any Cov fans down here so I tend to go to away games on my own which isn't really a problem as there's always plenty of people to chat to once you get to the pub / ground.

So you're in Southsea Chiefdave? I know it REALLY well. Just over the water from me. There are more Cov fans down here than you think. I've met loads of folk that live on the island that are from Cov (seems to be a popular choice!). It seems every time I meet someone new they're from the old home town, although sometimes it's been a while since they've been back.

Yeh I suppose but I find it a bit more difficult to mingle in a male dominated environment :)
