Luckily the players themselves won’t be that spineless.

what have you seen recently that makes you think that?

I suppose we can all enjoy Esse’s training ground flicks & curls whilst we’re losing to Wrexham

If we don't go every other teams fans in our league will be calling us bottlers. Bayer Leverkausen were called Never Leverkausen untill they won the league. What will they refer us as lol

They’d be right to

Id rather finish 7th if it isnt 1st or 2nd

Cannot be arsed for the inevitable heartbreak on top of the current heartbreak, on top of the Sunderland heartbreak on top of the United heart break on top of the Luton heartbreak

Fuck the play offs
Sunderland had a pretty similar run last season. Dropped into the playoffs after being top 2 for ages. Didnt turn out badly for them did it?

Do people really think we might not even make the playoffs?

Last season Bristol City finished in 6th on 68 points

If it were to be that this season, for example, that would mean we would only need 9 more points out of a possible 45 to get there

9 points out of 45!!! Which of course would be an awful return.

Are we saying we can't even get 9 points, even when our home form is outstanding. 4 wins out of the last 6 home games.

That really is OTT thinking and this place is a bit nuts at the moment for sure.

We will likely finish in the playoffs, but we have no momentum at all going into them.

Yes I know people will reference Sunderland, but that is the exception to the rule I would suggest.

On the last weekend of fixtures in March last season, after a draw v Swansea, Leeds were loudly booed off and there was fans remonstrating with Farke after the final whistle and it was made very clear many wanted him out.

They went on to win the league and automatic promotion comfortably (10pts) and are well on course to stay up in the Prem.

The Championship is a wild, unpredictable league until April. Always has been, always will be.

What was their position in the table at that point?

My dog has more of a sense of perspective than this place does after a loss. And we didn’t even lose yesterday!

I think it’s more the lack of momentum we have at the moment, it’s a massive factor in football and we have none

Sunderland weren't in the top 2 from November onwards mate. They had long given up on it by now. And they were never 13 points clear at the halfway mark

I will go with 6th based on recent form.
