I don't think you can. Average out the cost and charge the same to everyone.

Much as I don't like Leicester, I don't think their fans should have to pay more than those of Charlton or Oxford (for example) to watch a game.

Can we stop worrying about the fans of other clubs please?

Theres nogetting away from it.

If it was £30 - a reasonable price. This would have sold out in away and home especially after a 2/3 week break from matches.

Birmingham attendance was 30500,

And they sold out their away end 2700?

Reckon baggies will bring 1k max.

So it's 1500 less than Birmingham attendance already.

Without factoring in all the other empty seats.

There are no other empty seats. Home sales are looking comparable to Birmingham game.

Attendance will be between 29k - 29.5k

And the clubs income would be down.

How have you factored £30 as being reasonable?

Well not sure how you figure that out when there's 1700 less tickets sold in that away end including new block open to us.

All will be revealed soon enough.

I think they will bring closer to 1500

It sells out no question whatsoever at Cat B.

A 29K crowd would be around 5K paying (£45/£35) so say £40 = £200K
A 31.5K crowd would be 7.5K paying (£32/£22) so say £27 = £202.5K

Add in the additional F&B/Merch and Cat B would generate even more above what tomorrow will.. All marginal in the big scheme of things but it would have been nice to have another full house.
But we've been here before when we had thousands of empty seats week in week out. We'd always get 'why don't they make it a tenner and fill the ground' but then when they did cheap games the increase in attendance didn't offset the decreased prices.

Now it may be that if the tickets were cheaper it would be sold out in both the home and away ends. It may also be, as was the case a couple of seasons ago when there were cheaper tickets, that they still don't sell their tickets.

WBA will bring about the same amount as Blackburn, so despite 650 seats in block 9 now allocated to home support, it's the rest of the ground you have to look at and I can tell you there is only 400 of those tickets left.

So as the Blackburn game was 29600 minus the 400 unsold minus a 200 for the camera position in lower block 25.

Add to that in hospitality, only The Mill (Dougout) and Balcony Street Bar tickets available, there isn't going to be much different up there either to the blackburn game.

So that's how I come to 29k, but we'll find out soon enough.

Enjoy the game

Yes pal you too! I reckon 29k, which would be the Lowest attendance of the season or close to?

Think Shef United (Even with The Enemy performing ) was 29.5k.

29k is still decent so Dougs manage to shift 5000 tickets @ around £42.5. Considering it's been almost 3 weeks since majority of home fans have seen us isnt great.

Would i like to see a full house. Yes. More fans 100%.

We're in a very different era now. We've seen that the demand is there to sell out the stadium at sensible pricing levels. There was over 31K at the CBSA last season for this fixture. You seriously don't think this game sells out comfortably at Cat B prices?

Doug needs to stop being greedy and price these games normally. Only Leicester at a push can you justify £45.
He could reduce child tickets without destroying the adult price. Even if they were dropped to £25 from £35 it is likely to help bring more adults in, as lets face it, unless you are a STH or a JSB, nobody is attending these matches with young children - regardless of affordability - the prices just can't be justified.

The £45 price combined with it being on Sky is obviously going to affect the gate. I'd love to see sell-outs every game of course.

I notice that Balcony Street Bar offering has just sold out at £110 a go, so in hospitality only The Mill or The Mill (Dougout) available at £70 & £100 a shot for West Brom.

*The problem with the balcony and why there's always empty seats is down to the capacity of the lounges, which is too small and doesn't match the number of seats. I fully expect Doug to address this conundrum for next season.
