The front 5 or 6 rows were half empty on match day because, the fans who were allocated those tickets just got up and probably sat in the blocks opened on the day in block 25 , 26 , or 27. So far this season not one steward has checked tickets. You can practically go for a wonder anywhere.
That's the way we've done it lately.

We have been tempted to sit elsewhere too.

But the superstitious part of us wants to sit in the same seats every week! Whilst we are this winning/unbeaten run at home!

Arctic blast predicted for Tuesday, just in time for this match.
Stupid decision from FL to insist on quick rearrangement.
Imagine how big the crowd would be if they picked a midweek in March or April when there are only a couple of midweek fixtures scheduled.

They need to keep the fixtures up to date as much as they can. The bad weather hasn't started yet. And I don't fancy a game every few days at the end of the season.

There are only 2 midweek matches in the final 9 weeks of the season. Plenty of room for one more.

And how many games will be postponed before the end of the season because of the weather or our opponents still being in the cup?

It would be much better to have just one game most weeks at the end of a season. It would help any promotion push.

None at the Ricoh.
You miss my point that it is easily doable and football as a spectator sport should put the spectators first, unless it becomes too congested for the players. There would have to be several postponements for that to happen.
When have we had several postponements due to weather?

Actually it would be much more exciting at the end of the season if we did have a few midweek games. We would also have huge crowds and a growing buzz if promotion was on the cards.
Let's agree to disagree.

Roughly 1200 tickets left online for Walsall.

Burton still selling well with about 2000 left.

Can't wait for Tuesday to come!

Tuesday will have a huge bearing on the crowd for next weekend.

Beat Walsall and it will be another 1st vs 2nd match up and we all know what happened last time that happened this season. 18K City fans minimum I predict.

Gutted I've got to miss this, but at least my mate is using my season ticket to replace my 'bellowing'(positive stuff mainly!) for 90mins. Will be there in spirit, though, and will be back for the Burton game (along with said mate) :D
