heres a thought, as the club wont move the away supporters closer to block 15 to create a better atmosphere like the first season at the ricoh (our best season since getting relegated) then why not move to blocks 1 2 and 3 where season tickets are the "cheaper zones" and closer to away supporters.

Llyods pharmacy stand is full of business people they won't join in and because blocks 1 2 & 3 are extremly low and further from the roof it wouldn't be great... Also atleast sitting in block 16/15 its close to the majority of the fans "in the tesco stand" and sometimes they join in with the singing.

A few years ago before they blocked off the corners I sat in block 13. I was lierally yards from the away fans if they sold the whole of the stand. The craic v Wolves was immence when they missed that penalty and we scored even though a load of coppers ran up the stairs and pushed me down tumbleing to the concorse!!

I agree love having the away fans close, most of it is good natured banter.. only a few idiots can spoil it. However it does make for a cracking atmosphere, but I have a feeling this is more to do with the Police and Heath & Safety than anything else

at most other fans you have the away fans right next to the home fans. Take the north london derby for example, there is hatred between both fans but there is only ever a few rows of segregation and nothing bad ever happens. I'm not asking for us to be within touching distance of the away fans, but bringing them a few blocks closer will only do wonders for the atmosphere, and i can't see any trouble happening.

I think they did try it a couple of years ago against preston and there was a bit of trouble? i may be mistaken. That might be a reason why they want to keep the away fans so far away.

At the very least they could put them central instead of to one side. It would look and feel a bit fuller. I also wish they would make the corner covers bigger or close off the back ten rows or something because until we are fillimg our ground empty seats look worse. Close us up together and it will generate a better atmosphere.
