Their player fully deserved the Sakamoto one. Shoved Sakamoto from behind. The first was just pea brain Asante.

He definitely didn't for the BTA one.

For the Sakamoto one he was getting a word in his ear, but I think that was more likely to have been the fourth official over Clement talking himself into a booking rather than the lino saying he'd seen it.

Did he give a free kick for the Sakamoto one? Don't think he did, I genuinely can't remember.

In the extended highlights the referee stops play after the Norwich player goes down after the elbow. When he stops the game it looks like he's signalling for a free kick. But then after treatment, it looks like he's about to drop the ball.

Watched it back, and it it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. Didn't look at the player before hand, and didn't bend his arm to use his elbow. Careless, and possibly a red, but not as 'dangerous' as being made out imo. Haven't got to see the Saka incident back.
