They don't give retrospective bans for that. Only violent conduct and diving.

It would be basically impossible for a ref to not see a DOGSO incident anyway.

Oh I see. So only certain blatant red cards that aren't seen by the officials get a charge.

The ref saw the Charlton incident, just didn't think it was a foul.

Was a red card offence doesn’t have to be violence.

Maybe, but I have never known of a retrospective ban for someone committing a foul, even a professional one.

Multiple instances of retrospective bans for violent conduct.

We've not been hard done by here.

I’ve not said we have. It’s pretty unlikely and on the ball offence gets missed by the officials and pretty much the only off the ball offence that gets a red is violent conduct.

Not in BTA's case, but for the referee to see someone being wrestled to the floor yards from goal and decide it's not a foul is clearly being hard done by.

He didn’t get a red card for just diving. In order for a retrospective red card to be given, for the offence of diving it has to have resulted in a penalty being given or causing an opponent to be given a red card.

Funny thing is and apologies if it's been mentioned but that Leicester player didn't get any ban for when he physically decked kitchen.
In the asante one yeah he swung an arm but I don't think it was deliberately ment to hit in the face as the player just before that tug his arm.
Imo asante was just unlucky that it caught him in the face.
Never a 3 game ban.

Hayden Hackney’s kick out at a player earlier this season reminded me of Joey “c**t” Barton’s genuinely hilarious reaction to his red card in the “Agueeerrooooo” game. Think that was the season he had gone for anger management lessons too.

Anyway, Hackney should have been sent off and banned for 161 games. Irrespective of their league position.

Well they are the rules? How can you get a red card for a challenge that wasn’t deemed a foul?

TBH he probably needs a bit longer to get his sharpness back and we’ve got forwards coming out of our ears these days.

That’s what I mean, shows where the squad is now, would be handy off the bench though, we kind of got lucky when he came in for rudoni, just scored for fun, maybe we get lucky again and rudoni coming in for Asante changes us away, rudoni gives us a bit more in midfield than Asante, could be what we’re missing ?

I think the pressure is starting to bite.
We go all season totally disciplined then three essentially stupid red cards and in some ways uncharacteristic. Thomas, JDS and BTA.
Thomas was below par against Brum and has come back looking poor, although that may be the injury. Kitch has dropped a level as well.
Even Tats did stupid shit against Norwich.
Sports psychology time I feel.

Worried about Rudoni. Last season he was really physical in the box, and as a result, winning headers and scoring goals.
Unsure if the shoulder problem is a thing, but it is almost as if he stays mainly on the edge of the box now.
I get Rodri is another level and was out for much longer with a much more serious injury, but he is also still trying to regain his form.

He’s started to show glimpses but we need the rudoni that finished last season or we’re carrying him, can’t afford that, seen shouts for esse to play in the 10 but then you’re losing him wide and not sure he can, maybe torp grimes and Eccles as the 10 makes us a bit more solid away but then you’re losing that creative midfielder you get with Asante/ rudoni , still think 532 away would be perfect for us but can’t see Lampard leaving esse & EMC out ? Time to earn you’re money frank

Bit unfortunate IMO he wasn’t looking at the player. There seems an agenda against us from the referees and authorities this season.

Asante been brilliant all season he can be forgiven for this one.

Fair point Torch but the other way of looking at it is that if the refs did their jobs properly in the 1st place, there shouldn't be any need for players to be in refs ears.

This FA ban is just another letter to put on the pile we have had from them this season. FL needs to use it to create a bit of what MR philosophy to get more out the squad. He created a club spirit of all against us, nobody wants us to win and nobody expects us too..Add this to what the players can do and we can move forward.

It was posted the other day teams you hate the most.....Im coming to the conclusion, its all of them including the FA, EFL...... Fuck um all, its Cov is my be all and end all and i don't care what others say. Ill be as sky blue tinted as i want.
