Charlie Adam? Dunno, 'cos he's not a forward. Only other Charlie Adams I could find was some non-entity who plays for Louisville...

Perhaps Tony was watching Bryan Adams last night and got confused.

Good News. We do need to find a Plan B which could be a striker like Tudgay up top with him!

Yeah, if only we had a striker like Tudgay...

Good news. AA's form will pick up again, perhaps not quite to his early season extent but he's certainly a big boost to promotion hopes.

Also might help Armstrong focus now he knows he's staying. Must have always been in the back of his mind that he could have maybe gone back.

Not sure about Joe Cole. It is still amazing that he is even here. I think he will have a positive effect on the other players. I also think it would improve our pull when trying to sign others.
Just hope if it does happen he has a better impact on the pitch.
Biggi would be a very good signing IMO. Think he will learn a lot and more importantly his confidence will rocket in this team.

At last someone is up to speed with things
LastGarrison said:
Just a thought but won't this count as a "new" loan from January to the end of the season as opposed to Murphy's season long loan?

Thus meaning that the 24 hour rule can be used on Armstrong as per any other loan.

What I don't get is this:

I think it’s a season long loan, but we still have a recall on that whenever we want.

That reads as if it has always been a season long loan, he hasn't said "We have extended it for the rest of the season".

Makes it seem as though McLaren has no idea what the hells going on! Because he certainly hasn't been on a season long loan since August, his and TM's previous press conferences reflect that fact.

V strange...

I think it was just the way he was quoted, I read it as him saying "I think we can make it a season long loan provided we don't need to recall him, which we can do whenever we want"

Is he not saying it's now a season long loan with 24 hour recall?

He has signed until the end of the season. This means it is a season long loan.

Well how ridiculous! A season long loan means a loan that is season long?

That is very confusing.

It's Steve McLaren, maybe it makes more sense in his native Dutch.

TM "doesn't know" about AA yet apparently. Nothing rubber stamped yet.

CT need a story so they print this AGAIN. Logic tells us that nothing can be done until January 16 because that is when his present contract with us finishes
