Are we expecting too much from Thorn? (4 Viewers)

Rookie Manager, Rookie Players, in a Man's League full of experienced players.

No wonder the bookies tipped us for relegation before the season started.

AT will and has made mistakes, he's on a learning curve which will extend way beyond this season, regardless of what league were playing in next season.

But people say (and quite rightly) that he's makes the wrong decisions, plays the wrong system etc.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but....what did people expect?

Maybe the honeymoon at the end of last season made Thorn look a lot better at this job then he actually is. Of course, losing tools to do the job (King; Westwood; Gunny etc) doesn't help.

Judging by many of the comments around here, I don't think there has ever been a manager in CCFC's history who has had fewer expectations.

There's still a large number of people blaming him, though. As ever, the opposite view to ones self seems the dominant one. It's probably 50/50.
