The guy who sadly died after the collision on Woodway Lane, was a work colleague of my eldest daughter.Shes totally gutted, its the first anniversary of her Grandfathers passing tomorrow too. We're all rallying round as she really needs all the support she can get.I hope that c**t gets locked up for life, but i won't hold my breath.

When you’re bailed to an address does that mean someone has vouched for you or what? So random that he’s convicted of immigration offences, sentenced to return to Albania, then two months later a he’s in Cov. What?

You'd think stuff like this would be having to report to the local police daily and wearing a tag.

Tangentially related but: One of the things that makes me laugh about government privacy concerns is how crap we are at finding people and connecting datasets. My mate is living in council provided accommodation (as in just short of homelessness) was telling me his housemate just got arrested because he had several warrants out for him. He’d been living there for over a year. (All British because that’s what matters these days).

I know it's not exactly related, but whatever happened to that Dolars Aleksanders bloke who killed the boy in Radford?

Last thing I saw he fled to Latvia but from what I can find out, has disappeared since without any further trace.

Was gobsmacked recently at how people change their names or just have multiple names
Madness

David Smith, also known as Geoff Davies.

Always see that sort of stuff in the news with crime. Surely that's a red flag.
I agree
In the prison I volunteer at the staff are saying they struggle to keep up
I don’t know what you can do about it and not fall foul of Id card conversations

It's always quite shocking when you watch police docs. They will know who committed a crime, their name, their aliases, who they associate with etc but then still can't find them. Most of the time when they do eventually track them down its because they're flagged up on some random traffic stop or something like that.

You'd think it would be near impossible for someone to just go to ground and not be traceable.

It’ll always be the case until ID cards are introduced. I’ve never understood the opposition to them, personally.

I see somebody has been arrested for the kidnap and murder of a Coventry woman who has been missing for around a month
Two nicked for it now.

Watched a bit of the families press conference and although she had been clearly going through difficult times you can’t imagine what the family are going through basically knowing that she’s pretty much dead and two low life cunts are just refusing to admit it or confess where the body is.
