I have been reading a few bits and pices and I have to say is this guy confident or what?!!

Can't knock it.....I think he is genuine and has nothing to lose himself and will go for it from the get go. I hope our players go with him.

Kinda looking forward to the season...especially if we add a Koumas or a Philips to the mix then the place will be buzzing come Fester on the first day and more so at Brum in the second fixture. Can you imagine King for Brum and Philips for us scores the winner?

Mouth watering stuff folks. So I've decided we should sign Philips!

Haha, he's actually signed it, fear not. Happened a couple of weeks ago i think.

Hopefully this won't happen, but I really hope that even if things don't work out for him this season and the board decide to look for another manager, he still stays on as scout.
He is clearly very good at finding players.

Good point, CS88. He's also clearly very good at motivating players, and understanding their strengths and weaknesses - good management all round. He comes across as a 'diamond geezer' and I can feel an old ditty coming on:
