Look at their track record in football. They will change our name, kit colours, badge & anything else they can. It's fairly well publicised on the net but there is a thread on here from a couple of days ago.

Exactly right Mark, they only takeover clubs to promote their brand, Germany and Austria are going mad about it.

Having said that I would compromise if they didn't change us too much (but I believe they would).

Name could be something like RB Coventry City.
Kit remain sky blue but with Red Bull branding/sponsorship.
Badge not to be touched.

I just can't see it by any stretch of the mark but if someone like red bull was involved you could pretty much guarantee we would be the most well funded side in the midlands within five years. More chance of them buying a struggling London side if they were serious.

Where the opinion was divided.
Personally, I doubt FA would sanction a name change to include a brand in the name. So as long as they would invest similar into the club as they do F1... I'm in!!!

The red bull thing was an article put on here that mentioned us, in conjecture. Now people are having a period over it! People need to calm down and actually listen to who has bid, once it comes out. If it's red bull (which it won't be) then fair enough, panic... Or don't, it's your prerogative.

You cannot remove or change history

Red Bull can

The Red Bull company bought FC Salzburg on 6 April 2005 and rebranded it. After the takeover, Red Bull changed the club's name, management, and staff, declaring "this is a new club with no history." Red Bull initially claimed on the club website that the club was founded in 2005, but was ordered to remove this claim by the Austrian F.A. The new authority removed all trace of violet from the club logo and the team now play in the colours of red and white, to the consternation of much of the club's traditional support.

No they cannot.
No matter what name they might get away with calling a club...it's precursor's fanbase (in our case) would firstly follow through association, & would automatically assume the history in everyone's eyes except those who choose to be blind to it. You know like far-right butters that dent the holocaust & stuff? Only they believe it.

While I have been very quick to mention Red Bull they're not an American originated company believe it or not they are originated and still mainly based out of Austria, including other countries including the US, but surely a decision like this from Red Bull would have to come from their main man, who is based in Austria?

Yup, you would think so. It is highly unlikely they would choose to invest in us but if they did there would be positives and negatives. Positives being investment and promotion with us likely becoming a stable top flight club. Negatives have been mentioned before.

Absolutely, personally I could see Red Bull going for a club like us IF they were interested in buying an English club..
