Howlley will go out on loan. Allen won’t be in the squad for a few weeks and is probably looked at more of a AM especially when we play the box formation.
No way we’re signing 3 CMs. 1 more possibly

Howley will be gone on loan surely. We need to replace Kelly also in a year so why not do it now if we can.

I think he would be a good addition in terms of style, plus I'd like to think it means Kelly is phased out.

Assuming Howley is out on loan then he would replace Kelly next year.

I think that 5 for 2 spaces on a rotation is good depth

Good player at Barnsley and has experience be a good addition to our squad in my opinion, will depend on cost, he was loaned out last season so should be cheap.

Looks ok to me, Howley to be loaned out. Allen not really a CM, he will be competing for CAM and Kelly only to be used in emergency. Leaves 5 players competing for two spots, maybe a little much but not excessive.
