Akpom's loan deal (1 Viewer)

Sorry if this has been raised already but how come we've got a key loanee with terms that means he misses multiple games for the sake of his parent club's youth cup games? Seems bizarre and I don't remember this happening with any other loanees we had (correct me if I'm wrong). I don't think Akpom is good enough to have him only available half the time - can't we get another loanee who will be available for all games?

We were clearly desperate, when you are desperate you take what you can get. Better to have a loan deal with a quality player for most games than not have the player at all. Is he missing for another game soon then?

Yeah agreed. We were desperate for bodies and it is better than having noone.

Looking at it if that deal was offered to me by Arsenal I'd tell them where to shove it frankly, I understand why the Club took it, but let's be honest if you are a Club like Arsenal you send out players like Akpom on loan is because they want him to get first team experience which may be hampered by playing youth Football for instance.

He is playing for Arsenal youth team tonight, Akpom has said he wants/would be willing to play tomorrow but Pressley looks set to leave him out as other other wise he would have played 3 games in 4 days.

Those bloody flicks he kept doing Saturday were infuriating in the extreme. Hardly any came off,but he kept doing them, I feel he needs advising to bloody stop them and control the ball like everyone else does in the teams we play.
Is too early to tell if he will make it at the top level, but I wasn't to impressed but the lad is only 18 and has plenty of time to improve.

I am still getting over that first half performance, god it was shite, Webster was bloody awful and Seabourne looked shaky every time he got the ball.
The second half was better

Weird deal yes but if youre offered a arsenal youth hot talent regardless then you take it. I agree with the flicks but he is an arsenal talent what do you expect trouble is in L1 you look stupid in the premier league you look world class.

What a finish from Chuba! Everton hesitate and the forward goes through on goal before unleashing a left-foot shot into the top corner 2-0

I have not had chance to see him yet so cannot really comment - keeping Delfounso out of the side though at present.....I am not sure this is right but Delf has chance to impress with Wilson tomorrow night and needs to take it. Has to be said Moussa looked more of a threat when he was up front in terms of goals than either Delf or Chuba.....I would be curious one game to see a front two of Moussa and Wilson given we have more bodies in midfield,,,,doubt this will happen though!!
