Got that one but not used it yet (in the process of moving house) - one thing I will say is it’s massive!
Got the Ninja Foodi Max, it’s fucking awesome. We don’t use the oven any more.
What's the energy usage of it? Anyone put one of those smart meter things on it and worked out the cost?
Way less than a standard oven. Once it's up to temp (id say 2 minutes max to get to 180⁰) the heating element seems to be off more than it's on, it's also generally faster at cooking whatever is in there. I think "air fryer" is a misnomer tho, it's more of a tiny fan oven. Well mine is at any rate.

In my case I have a 3KW oven and my air fryer is 1.7KW. let's call it 50% less power to make the numbers easy
Chicken can take about 40 mins to roast in an oven but in my air frier it takes 18 mins to roast, so another saving. Plus in terms of heat efficiency I'm only using heat in the small drawer area rather than the oven.
Over the course of a month I must be saving £10s at least so it should pay back in 12 months
It really is a no brainer and wish I got one sooner!

Had one a few years ago, single basket, but didn't use it much as with 4 adults and occasionally grandkids popping in, it was easier to do stuff in a large oven, grill etc ... or fry stuff and keep it warm in the oven while the next bit got fried. Gave it to the lad and his wife when they moved out.
Now it's just the two of us, might be worth investing in a new one so please let us know how you get on with it Evo - the dual bit might work out a lot cheaper if everything can cook and be ready to eat around the same time.
Got the same one, use it all the time, only use the oven for Sunday roast dinner. I love my sausage and bacon sarnies, 10 mins in the Ninja. Have done steaks, pork, small chicken, toasties, poached eggs, too many things to mention. I would say to anyone, get one, but make sure it's the double.
Splendid piece of kit for two - cooks pizza properly - no more soggy bottoms - we get chip shop chips and keep them in the freezer , they come out perfectly - chicken kyivs in a little foil pouch wrapped up - baked spuds - 5 mins in microwave then into the air fryer to crisp the skin up beautiful

Generally buy half a metre and cut it up into basket size pieces - this was after the Monday game
Yeah I got those frozen Pret chocolate croissants from Tesco that are still dough and they come out perfect.
Anythung deep fried like mushrooms, onion rings, croquettes, etc as long as it’s not wet batter will work. So frozen stuff works well. If you get one like mine that’s a pressure cooker and slow cooker as well there’s loads. But then you may as well buy a pressure/slow cooker lol
We bought a cheap and cheerful supermarket own brand as a trier and now use it daily. Anything frozen cooks a treat and it does so much more. Ideal for the kids meals which are done in 10-15 minutes rather than heating up the whole oven etc. Now looking into a big Bertha like the Ninja.
Not sure bamboo canes would work in an air fryer...

We've got a Tower Vortx duel 9L as there was a national shortage of Ninja's at the time.
It was £140 I think, so cheaper than the Ninja but it's brilliant. Never use the oven now unless we're having a big family roast.

Ok I am going to have to own up to my complete lack of knowledge. Do you just use them for things you would normally put in the oven, can you cook anything and how do you know how long to cook for? I feel I need to get up to speed given all your enthusiastic comments.
