With the Academy set to return to the AHC, could the club also return back to the Ricoh?

ACL need CCFC to repay the interest on their 14M loan from the council.
SISU need the income from 10K+ attendances which can only be achieved by playing at the Ricoh.

QED............ CCFC return to playing at the Ricoh before the new year...................you heard it hear first.

One big cup tie will do it. FA / league will be able to influence a return. Especially if SISU try and rent a bigger stadium away from Coventry for the game.

Or do what small clubs used to do and change the tie from a home game to an away game to make the money.

Hmm. Wolves at Sixfields? You have a point. I suppose it depends on FA/ league approval?

It was looked at from two angles. More money for the smaller club and crowd safety. Wolves could easily fill Shitfields by themselves. So how many would try to get tickets in the 'home' end? A game like that could be a sellout even at Wolves.

Don't you mean SISU CAVING IN after Fisher told us all the facilities at WU were superior to the Higgs Centre and then coming cap in hand back to them?

The boot is now on the AHC foot!

AHT talking positively to Otium is a big step forward. Lets hope ACL follow suit.

Don't think ACL are caving in, not yet anyway.
Return to AHC has nothing to do with ACL. SISU are being put under pressure to return there as it is the only facility in the area that meets requirements for Academy status. Failure to return there would mean SISU would lose funding. Higgs therefore have got SISU by the balls IMO.

Too right, mate! CCFC playing at the Ricoh is second only on my list to seeing Fisher's face when that happens!!! I know that getting us playing back in Coventry should be at the top of my list, but I like to put my personal hatred of that man above anything else!

Just heard this this morning when I came into work.
Apparently this week will be the last game at Sixfields. A contractor at work met with his mate, who is a professional referee ,at the weekend and the refs have been informed CCFC will be moving back after this weekends match.
:thinking about:

It means that it's of financial gain to CCFC to return to the Alan Higgs and will return to the Ricoh when it's financially viable to do so, it's called good business management we are not going to be the financial crutch anymore to the poorly run businesses

Isnt it the case that the FL require an academy to be in the home town, and Warwick University doesnt meet FL technical requirements i.e. Sisu have no realistic choice other than AHC?

I would love to think we will be back at the Ricoh very quickly & that SISU/ACL have actually grown up a bit and started acting like adults instead of a couple of pathetic little spoilt school kids.
The only thing they are doing is killing themselves and the club.

Just can't see it though

No.
It is my understanding that Otium/Sisu have "moved on".

Always going to be a winner with the "I blame the ref" contingent isn't it?

It's not financially viable to be at Sixfields yet there we are whilst we wait for the new stadium to be built.

The club has been a financial sink hole for quite some time now and the myriad of companies SISU use to run/own our club are more often than not late with their accounts. ACL seem not to have this problem - still never mind as PWKH says the club has moved on and we'll be in our new stadium in a few years. No need to worry about the council or ACL after that.

Has the apparent "we might sell" quote from Ms Sepalla last week moved the goalposts a bit ?
