Thought it was supposed to be part of the new ground and training facilities side by side funny how they seem to have mysteriously vanished or are they going to be under the pitch?

Tried and failed with the new academy thing. It was the only true bit of information gleaned from the FOI requests. They applied to RBC for permission to build it at Ryton and it was turned down flat.

Seems to me, with the recent Higgs/Sisu court case, that the Academy may not be based at Allard Way for much longer.
Relations must be very strained to put it mildly.
Where does that leave CCFC - ie - the specialist type pitch required by FA guidelines?
More problems looming?

Maybe not.

They have told us that SISU are not CCFC and CCFC are not SISU......when it matters.

SISU never refused to pay the rent for the Ricoh. CCFC did. And Joy didn't know about it.

CCFC had nothing to do with SISU not wanting to pay the costs as Higgs thought they had agreed. CCFC didn't know about it.

CCFC didn't know that the training ground costs or replacement of machines hadn't been paid for. SISU didn't tell them.

So much for Joy saying she is hands on now.

Not really. If they are thinking that they may be here for another 2-3 years then the academy is a pool that they can keep dipping their fingers into and not spend to much or loan to much on players coming in. Might be interesting to see how many homegrown (academy) players are used next season.

It doesn't need to retain that status for those players to be used in the first team though, does it?

It does to get more money a year to go towards bringing more youth players to use like Wilson than 23 home games at Northampton brings in.

The trustees are different at the Higgs Centre (PWKH is the only crossover in terms of people) than the Higgs Charity so hopefully (touch wood, fingers crossed) it shouldn't affect the Academy.
