I think most from either stance simply respect the other stance as a valid opinion on an uncertain "best" way to make their point.
The sensible people just accept it.
The nutters condemn & vilify & will not accept or respect. They become verbally or physically intimidating...hence they're nutters!

No the blokes a twat.
Made a rod for his own back with his one sided views and making out that we are all stupid for not agreeing with him or his mates.

I think they are misguided - they are prolonging the 'temporary' move outside of Coventry but I don't dislike them individually. Some like RFC on here and others who are sometimes on CWR talk about it being a nice change and that is just crazy. I am absolutely convinced that the low crowds are having a severe re-think and as soon as the JR is lost - Sisu will walk away. The danger with this is liquidation in my opinion and the end of our football club. Whether this is worse than gradual death over the next 3-5 years I am not sure

No I just put the club first. Others also clearly do - the likes of Torch, Moff, Otis, Tommy and dare I admit it Sky Blue John love this football club.

Do I get the same feeling from James Smith, Jack Griffin, you and your mate and the Two Tony's? Actually no.

However I'm bored with the same old Sunday night routine with you and your mate.

So here is a challenge. Do a poll. Ask if posters on here want me to vacate the forum. A straight yes or no. If the answer is yes I depart - if its no its a vote of no confidence so you depart.

Everyone agrees with you so its a shoe in right? Go on do the poll run it for 3 days and I go for good.

Personally I don't care if you depart or not.
So I won't set foot in sixfields so I hate sisu.
I go to every away game and on every demo why because I love this club and hate what our owners have done.
And unlike you I do like the ricoh and was proud to play in such a nice ground.

If that means I'm not a Coventry City supporter then maybe I should move on.

As for me moving on I have no problem with that it is not my life after all 12944 post says it all you have no other life.

Goodbye and enjoy.

I'm only answering this one post of yours I really hate and I mean hate the club thats why I protest in Northampton every time they play there,I've missed one away game this season and all this on a salary vastly different to your six figured one,and yes I'm finding it difficult to keep funding it. This goes for LAST as well we really really hate City we must do because we don't agree with you so we must be wrong fine we're wrong. You on the other hand are always right remind me I've forgotten just how many games have you been to this season?

Otis, nice sentiments, however I think WestEndAgro's comments show there will never be unity.

Otis said:
I am sad that people have decided to go, but at the end of the day it is their choice.

Think it would be better and we would be totally united if no-one at all went to any 'home' games in Northampton.

The biggest worry for me is that of the club having success and the stayaways relenting and drifiting back bit by bit. If we were to get to stage where Sixfields was near to capacity I think that they would then be no rush whatsoever to come back home.

Oh, don't talk rubbish. Grendel doesn't make fans like WestEnd think they can talk to fellow fans that way. Grow some balls and stop blaming Grendel for everything.

40 years and some watching ccfc, then ripped away from me this season, by the move to Sixfields, and you wonder why I object to people supporting the move by attending.

Turn your anger on the suits who have moved us, not your fellow fans.

Ha ha ha! Oh OK so if i wasnt on the forum there will be no spineless, scab, selfish references?

OK here is a bet. I will disappear for one month. If peace and harmony prevails and there is no negative responses either way I will donate £100 to your favourite charity - however if there are the usual spats and name calling you donate £50 to my favourite charity - so two to one odds - yes you up for it?

Gooner,
I would never go myself. Not even say a Arsenal, Man City or Chelsea Lge Cup Semi (ha ha Man U no longer atop three draw) or even a big play off game.

I just simply will not go, away games only until we return to Coventry. I wish everyone felt the same and we had unity.

However, you never get 100 per cent with opinion. It is also a complex situation and other factors/factions have played a part although most driven by SISU in my opinion.
There are tremendous levels of loyalty in football so it is no surprise some fans are attending, some say just to support the players who aren't to blame. I think you have to respect an individuals choice and don't agree with all the childish name calling.

I really do wish though we could organise a complete boycott for just one game or even one game where fans didn't start entering until 30th minute.

Most of all I wish we were back in Coventry playing at the Ricoh, a stadium I think we can be proud off.

Does anyone remember an American sitcom on TV years ago (circa late 70's-early 80's) called 'Soap'?

The opening credits featured the cast consisting of two families posing nicely for a group photo before descending into bickering, pushing and shoving and eventually, full on fisticuffs.

That's what this thread, and the wider Sky Blue Army at present reminds me of.

So what's the plan, jump on every single word he posts? He didn't spell Styvechale right in one post and there you were. Was that an insult to you too?

You can hardly talk about 'him or his mates' when you're part of a little core group essentially trawling every post he makes and dragging the thread down in a sea of sub-schoolboy insults, 'estimated facts' and passive-aggressive mutual likes.

It'd be a lot easier for you to stop feeling insulted by him if you stopped stalking him looking for something to be insulted by.

Have to agree, I can only assume that as that they are online at the same time and both joining in on the same posts they like a bit of tag team.

Equally- does by his own admission revel in such responses.. he's hardly a shrinking violet in that regard, recently posting quite offensive remarks such that I reported to Mods, they were disgusting- I criticised him openly on the forum and the post was removed.
I agree AJ "cyber" bullying isnt on... but I doubt:1 He's remotely bothered, 2 a totally innocent victim?
