What about attending the first Northampton friendly at Sixfields or anywhere for that matter and make it quiet clear to their chairman David Cardoza (sounds like a name from the Sopranos) what we think about his ground share idea

Your gonna end up pissing off our moderate fans who agree with you on this issue. Come up with a concrete argument why the plan is bad for your club and contact our supporters Trust. They will have to come out in support for you/

Good idea for a protest. We could even try and get the game abandoned.

Please don't focus on Northampton, I pretty much guarantee 99% of cobblers are on your side. If any club gets you it's them. Work with them and target those really at fault. Remember the cobblers are the foundation stone of supporters direct with Brian lomax and dave Boyle.

NTFC your a nob. Does it really need to be explained to you why it's a bad idea why it's bad for our club and fans!!?!?!?

No he's talking sense. Some idiots in here are advocating wrecking the ground. That would just re-enforce a stereotype that footba fans are mindless morons and would attract nothing but negativity.

No way should we try any unlawlessness, especially in these days of cctv and football banning orders, but showing this Northampton chairman the depth of our feelings might make him think a bit and yes we need Northampton fan support but haven't seen a lot yet

Unfortunately the Northampton fans will get blamed, bound to happen. But I agree with Grendel violence of any type would be massively counter productive

He talks sense, instead of protesting and all turning ntfc fans, board etc we should be working with them instead.

Quite a lot support you but I think find the complexities of your case means it's difficult to get their heads around.

TBH i'm getting frustrated with the vindictive comments and abuse on this site towards us.
You chose the wrongg day to come on here, our fans are angry and venting their frustrations that we could be playing in Northampton.
If i were you i'd be more concerned that ground sharing with a higher league based club could see your fixtures re arranged as we take precedent in the eyes of the FL.

You need to mobilise your fans to ensure your clubs not about to take a big dump on you.

I will thanks, my club is not the one in dire need of help and our fans aren't alienating those who can help them most.

Why would we have priority over somebody else in their own ground? Some people need to actually look at us and see we aren't premier league any more...

All the usual gimps out in full force making us look stupid again. The one thing I won't miss next season.

So a couple of Northampton guys visit the site and are subjected to diatribe and abuse from the usual suspects.

The truth is very few outsiders care less. We would not care if roles were reversed. Antagonism and abusive behaviour is not a way forward.

Indeed. At best the majority of people don't know even the basic details of the situation and some even find it hilarious-though some people here are lending credence to the latter.
