I'm not sure how we could possibly track them down to be honest.

Probably best option is to contact the auction house, explain what you doing and find out if they still have the buyers details. If they do have them, ask if they would be willing to pass a message to them regarding us seeking the medals and our willingness to compensate the current owner to be able to return them to their original owner. And if that person has sold them on, would they be willing to forward the message as well ?

I really don't know if Christies would want to be a third party messenger but unless we put a wanted advert in the media, it's the only start I can think of.

Saw this on twitter, thought it might be someone on here, but can't see a related thread. Anyone have any idea of how to help out? Even just retweeting/ liking might help out in terms of exposure

The only medal I can see that was bought and the declared value was Norman white side and his medal went for £30,000
