Saying on skysports transfer centre that sheff wed have had a £200,000 bid for Adam Le Fondre rejected and that Rotherham are looking for £250,000. Surely we would be interested at that price?

If that's true, and it's also true that we had a bid rejected ourselves, this might be a good indication of how much SISU are actually funding us for the season. I suspect they've given us just enough to keep us afloat while they asset strip us.

Well there's not many left now, but Clingan will be gone if anyone offers anything remotely interesting. If Turner was fit, he'd have interested parties. Cranie the same.

The liars sisu never put a bid in, it was when they heard Rotherham wanted a fee they backed off

Rotherham quoted £1.5m in the press, so Sheffield Wednesday can dream on - as can we. I'm sure they'd let him go for £1m, but anything less would be unlikely.

Did the club (or SISU) confirm that they made a bid for this player?

I thought this thread was about ALF, the brown American TV alien from the 80's. Imagine my disappointment, I thought we'd finally found a new signing who we could afford...

Y'see? It wouldn't be the worse signing. Great for the merchandising, shirts with name on, etc. Could be just the franchise signing we need to boost our Brand Image! Time for a new thread in "Ask Leonard"? I hear that he'll be answering the questions there sometime before the end of the millenium.
