The first half saw us play 4:5:1 with Gary Madine a Billy no mates up front alone, forlorn and clearly not enjoying life.
What is attractive about this formation that also leaves midfield resembling a kids kick and rush area with too many passes short and negative.
Second half showed immediate improvement playing 4:4:2 with GM having company up front. a less congested midfield and room for the wide midfielders (wingers in old money) to attack the flanks.
SP could you please please play 4:4:2 more regularly - you know it makes sense.
