Been reading about a Man United fan who rang the police in an irate state after losing to Sunderland the other night. He demanded to speak to Sir Alex Ferguson to talk about the result. Many will say how stupid is that ? I've felt like ringing the police and the Samaritans myself being a long suffering City fan !

Is it real or a hoax? If it is real the police should arrest him for wasting time.

Pretty sure I recall one not so long back where a woman called 999 because she had ordered a pizza and it hadn't arrived.

These are probably the same people who think soap stars are real and if they see one down a street and the actor just happens to play a baddie, they give them lots of stick about their behaviour.

I'm surprised our very own outraged few on here haven't done the same.

I read about this incident in the BBC website. If some dumbo called 911 (USA) drunk and in a non-emergency situation he/she would not get follow-up instructions from emergency personnel whom to contact instead. Funny story though, a bit indicative of how in the clouds Manure fans have been for years. Crash and burn Manure, everyone is enjoying the show. The team plays with no intensity or passion, and the ownership still pulls in $700M in profit every year (if my numbers are wrong, I apologize but I thought I read that figure earlier this month).
