Bearing in mind our superior goal average, to exceed that:
Sky Blues need 4 points from 7 games
Boro need. 14 points from 7 games
Ipswich need 16 points from 8 games
Milwall need 16 points from 7 games.

With Ipswich v Boro and Ipswich have 3 home games and 5 away (including Saints). Boro v Milwall too.

Don’t think 2ppg is out of the question for a top three side in the run in, but we’ll get far more than 4 points from the remaining games.

We basically have 3 in the basket already with wednesday coming to town

2 wins and a couple of draws easy

No one is surpassing 88 of the following pack. They still arent even in the 70s (apart from Boro) with 7 to go

The last time we had this sort of gap was on 5/12/25, we had a 7 point gap to 2nd and 12 to 3rd!! For the second time this season we’ve stretched out a big lead, absolutely incredible achievement. We’ve gone 10 unbeaten, won 11 from 12 and now are 7 from 8, bearing in mind, this IS Coventry City!
Imagine the gaps if we hadn’t had the winter blip!

I think it's all over now. Points wise i see us minimum of 88. That will be top two and promotion. Anything else is a bonus.

I just did that predictor.... being as pessimistic as possible, i still got us on 93 pts (beating Sheff Weds, Portsmouth, and Blackburn).

But i did have Ipswich finishing on 91, and Middlesbrough on 89 (again being as pro (Ipswich/M'boro as possible)..... so 9 more pts does it for me.

I had Wrexham making the playoffs on GD, and Leicester staying up with quite a lot to spare.

Let’s chill out on the equations. We’re as good as Champions. It’s nailed on

And Blackburn beat Millwall and held boro in the last two games. And drew with Ipswich in the rearranged game…..

Doug will want promotion secured asap, he has to get his plans in motion. But FL will be 1 game at a time but 1st he will want Rudoni back and every other player on international duty back fit and some with having not been involved in games.

What is going to be annoying is because Sky has brought forward the Blackburn game to Fri night the fans could not see on the pitch us guarantee promotion.

Possibly down to the next day when all rivals play-be awful to wait on results and not actually celebrate it with team.

Then we’d go to play Pompey as promoted but maybe wining confirms title?
