Yep, the club will no doubt have the jitters after O'Hare to Burnley last year. They won't want to spend their increased budget and then see a £20m hole in their budget

Can you imagine him trying to explain that strategy to MR, without a hugely negative kickback. If it's a case of the recruitment team not committing to certain players until it's 'certain' , then I'd understand that strategy.

the concern is- next week the players and staff are away for a week

so there won't be any transfers or dealings then. We never have signed anyone during the tour

we then have a couple of weeks to sign over 10 players who would have had zero integration with the team...
