Bang on. It's really simple marketing. Send out a handful of shirts to people with tens of thousands of views a week to post on their social media.

Although a few usual suspects on twitter appear to be jealous that it wasn't them...

Im not jealous at all, i had no intention of buying it

These 'influencers' apart from Alex Craig only started in the last couple of years. I wonder why....... oh thats right, none of them fucking bothered with us until the good times started again. Shouldn't reward that in my view. Especially considering those who have stood in torrential rain watching us lose away at Newport and minus 9 at Wycombe recieve fuck all

They're the ones the club should be giving free shit to or using in promos

Why shouldn’t a business reward new customers?

They aren't giving shirts out as a reward.

They are giving them out to show off to their thousands of followers.

The irony is, Alex Craig is the only one who didn't really get numbers on his post.

Don’t get this cobblers at all. People going to the match to film themselves instead of watching the actual football.
Watched a couple of them on YouTube to see what the craic was-some weasel asking his dorky mate what the pies taste like 🙄
Then there’s that other prick who likes the sound of his own voice and thinks he’s a comedian. Nothing but dirge.

Yeah, it definitely isn't for everyone but they are popular and get a good number of views.

Agree.
But they couldn’t afford to do that though as we’re already invested without the need for clicks and likes.

And that Sunny geezer - don’t think he’s got a replica shirt from between 2001 and 2022 or something which says it all….

I generally find most football ‘influencers’ (let’s be honest, they’re basically amateur journalists) to be tedious, but I don’t think you can blame people for not making content when there wasn’t an especially big audience or demand for it.

Black and Green stripes are one of the shittest kits we have had, alongside the brown which is notorious because of how shit it was back then and still is now. Just because it’s old, it doesn’t mean it’s classic.

Would have liked a modern take on some of the yellows.

Yeah the original Brown kit it's so shit if you had one of The Originals it would be worth hundreds of pounds.

A bit harsh, bloggers like Alex Craig and Malc SB give a view from the terraces of the fans experiences on match days for those who live all over the world and can't attend the games. 🤔

"The Third Kit takes a bold, modern approach with a tonal navy and deep blue colour palette. A deconstructed club crest forms the base of the design, layered with distressed textures in an angular, asymmetric layout. Flat navy panels anchor the centre front and back, providing contrast and structure. The result is an unapologetically edgy look — like an Ajax kit on acid — blending tradition with experimental design."

Get fucked

I think they have taken that bit off the article now!

We never lost away at Newport - Max got a late equaliser.
But you're right, we all got drenched.

Well I guess that if people enjoy some gormless tit eating a pie then good luck to them.

Said it before, but I can’t imagine anything worse than being sat in front of one of these amateur commentators trying to narrate everything for their vlog.
I genuinely don’t get it - there’s one in the Birmingham documentary. The Amazon guys are sat next to him filming him filming himself.
And then some kid recognises him at an away game and wants a photo with him 🤷🏻‍♂️

just live in the moment Jesus Christ.

I get why they do it - there’s clearly a market for it and people seem to like partisan commentary (same as everything these days). I just wish some of them had some actual insight, they seem to rely on all the same cliches that the normal commentators use.
