I generally find most football ‘influencers’ (let’s be honest, they’re basically amateur journalists) to be tedious, but I don’t think you can blame people for not making content when there wasn’t an especially big audience or demand for it.

I get why they do it - there’s clearly a market for it and people seem to like partisan commentary (same as everything these days). I just wish some of them had some actual insight, they seem to rely on all the same cliches that the normal commentators use.

Whilst I'm not against matchday vloggers, I dont think this is the sole purpose and reason behind them doing it.

Not a single vlogger woke up this morning, and thought, i know, I'll make videos for fans from Australia to get a match day experience in their living room! Nope, they all wanted the fame, loved the sound of their own voice, and hope they become rich!

Never once had Sunny D or whatever his name is, made a video, and thought about others. He's so self-absorbed in his own entitlement to care what he brings to fans in Norway!
