Carlisle are a mess at the moment so it's a good time to play them. Mind you Cov are well known for helping kick start others seasons! Shrews will be difficult as we saw last year. Preston are off to a good start and playing at 'home' in Sixfields gives them the edge. 4pts from 9 has to be minimum SP is looking for.

Would love us to be on 0pts of course.

anybody know when and where i can get a ticket for the shrewsbury game?- been in touch with STFC and they say that as far as they are aware CCFC are dealing with their own tickets

as crazy as it sounds we can still be better off after 8 games than we were last year, which means playoffs are on lol

Unless we improve at the back we are going to get smashed 4 or 5 nil at some point, with a bunch of kids on the field that will be a test of their resolve.
Id love us to do well this season but i cant help thinking that one or two injuries and one or two bad results and the goals will be drying up.

Drew first 3 games under Thorn then lost 5 games under Shaw. Robins lost his first game but it was the League cup game if I think and then we won our 9th game to record our first win of the season.

As soon as we get a couple of injuries (or sales) the reality of the situation will kick in. Glass half empty says relegated by March unless we get new owners in.

yup thats what i thought, 3 from 8

i think i just use to attribute all 5 losses to shaw for some reason.

so yeh after 8 games we could be on 11pts! 8 better off! woooooooooooooooooooooh

MASSIVE game Saturday. 3rd league game but every weeks a cup final until we catch up. Feeling optimistic about the team atm.
