We will only truly be happy when someone is going around the pitch firing T-shirts from a big T-shirt firing gun.

What scope is there to add capacity and some stage in the future - ignoring the politics and ownership issues? It's penned in by the road and rail but another 10k seats might be doable...

Given how much of a white elephant that train station is, they could revisit building a proper one whilst extending the CBS at the same time and combining the two. A football stadium with an underground train station.

I know it will never happen, but it's a nice useless thought.

Who is going to be our Maud Flanders?

Why dont we think of now giving the away fans less capacity, 2000 to 2500 and we have more

More work would need doing to the concourse but this should absolutely be something to consider going forward. At 3000, our away allocation is one of the biggest in the league. Fine for games we don't sell out, frustrating for games like West Brom, Boro and Sunderland where we could have sold another 1000 with ease.

There were lots of moments where we could doubt Fisher (he gave us plenty) but when he proposed that small stadium, he proved himself utterly unfit to run our club, showing a total lack of understanding of the club, the city and the fanbase.
There was a thread about how big our club was potentially. Plenty on here saying we would never fill the CBS and how we are really a small club with little potential. I was not one of them.

One of the last games of the season we had a row of stewards in our stand to separate the fans why not put then in the away fans and cut their numbers instead.
It's got to be safer for them to be with the home fans and there will surely be insurance consequences to make that change. I don't see how it helps one bit merely to squeeze out 50 or 100 extra home tickets.

When you run out of tickets for home fans you need more tickets the away fans are the least priority in the ground, I would say they would be safe in the away section in ground trouble is minimal now as they have cameras all over the place.

It's about 100-200 seats about £3.5-7k potential extra ticket income per match for the big sell out games.

Leicester,Ipswich, Southampton, Derby, Sheffield United, Cov, Brum, will all have good crowds The likes of Norwich, Boro, Baggies will be next.
We'll average more than Sheff U, they were only marginally higher than us last season. Southampton averaged 29.4K and Ipswich 28.8K in 23/24. Derby 29K last year. Birmingham's capacity is apparently 29.4K so will average less than that. Hopefully Leicester crowds will reduce from their 23/24 level of 31.2K if they finally get punished for their cheating.

We averaged a smidgeon under 28K last season. Stands to reason that our average will exceed 29K next year with the extra ST sales.

I sat with 6K on a cold Tuesday night for a league game against FGR just 7.5 years go. What a journey we're on!

No chance Leicester will be close to selling out if they have a bad season, their ground was half empty whenever I watched them this season

Well it was never considered to be built anyway so it’s kind of irrelevant

In my opinion the proposal was little more than a negotiating tactic.

Our attendances next season will hinge on the away followings. Not every team will be bringing 3k
We've lost Sunderland and Leeds who sold out. Luton who brought 1.7K, Plymouth (1.2K) and Cardiff (1.8K). Can't find how many Burnley brought but don't think that sold out.

To be replaced by Leicester, Birmingham, Wrexham who will all sell-out. Southampton and Ipswich probably will. Charlton will sell a few.

Hard to see away attendances not being higher than last year.

I remember going to the Checkatrade first game the year we won it against Northampton. Very few there that day.
