Well skyblue army , we are about to see our stadium filled for the season & beyond .
It’s a fantastic journey that we are on & with our help , so let’s make the CBS a daunting , intimidating place to visit .

A serious point but if we continue this journey the CBS isn’t a big enough stadium.

With Leeds & Sunderland gone we won’t be far off the best supported club in the Championship next season

Hilarious Fisher peddled the idea of a smaller stadium where in fact we need bigger.

The original Arena 2000 plan was for a 45k stadium if I recall correctly.

Pre match strippers, a sniff bar outlet on the concourse and Wetherspoons . Half time pole dancers for entertainment. And no road closures on the A444 after the game

Unfortunately the pyrotechnics are probably happening, some flame boxes were being used before the playoff home leg.

No it's really not, European football atmospheres make English football look tepid in comparison.
Agree It looks daft when you get a handful in a small block, but a packed out end rocking looks amazing imo.

If we have a good season from the off then there is no reason that we can't be competing for top place of crowds.

Of those teams only Derby has a bigger ground than us

Potential issue for the future if season tickets are capped at 24k going forward and we do sell out..what happens to those in the family zone that as their kids become adults have nowhere to move to?

Plus you’ve got a waiting list. Do they move to the top of that but aren’t guaranteed a ticket? Does the allocation left allow for this scenario and allows them to move? Doesn’t affect me but just wondering how that would play out.

pretty sure being a cov fan doesn't make you immortal so as we have kids getting older we will also have people who are sadly no longer with us

We may be loud but we lack the movement like European/South American sides. Whe we sing Sway, we should actually move from left to right and create a moving wave.
Would look great on camera.

I’m aware of how life works. My question was with the waiting list being a thing that people pay to go on do those in this FZ move scenario simply go to the top of that ahead of everyone else?

It’s unlikely they will all have seats next to each other as well when they move. Something for those sitting in FZ to consider.

40k I think. With curtains to drop down to 20k for when we find ourselves in L2 again.

What scope is there to add capacity and some stage in the future - ignoring the politics and ownership issues? It's penned in by the road and rail but another 10k seats might be doable...

Anything can be knocked down or built over I guess. Question is the finances I’d imagine. Like extending your house at some point it’s cheaper and easier to build from scratch.

I reckon we could push over 40 no problems.

There were lots of moments where we could doubt Fisher (he gave us plenty) but when he proposed that small stadium, he proved himself utterly unfit to run our club, showing a total lack of understanding of the club, the city and the fanbase.

If not doable we may have to relocate elsewhere in the city, don't think we need to worry for now, be great to get 15 plus games over 30000 next season though

What is the actual capacity at the moment, it frustrates the crap out of me to read we have sold out and then see banks of seats empty either between the two sets of fans or in the upper tier? I am sure they are but trying to fill those would be good.

i'm always amazed that stadiums aren't built to be more future proof.
we should be able to pop some or all of the roof off, add another layer, then pop the roof back on.

an afternoons work, worst case.

He didn’t halve an option. SISU was toxic. He knew the fans wouldn’t back SISU so planned accordingly. 23k was being optimistic as well. They weren’t ever going to cover overheads with fans rattling around stadia. He/she initiated their own recession.

Could the CBS Arena be extended?

Taking away the argument some will put forward that we're a small club and don't need it. Would it be possible?
