I would have settled for that before the start of the season! We were always going to have blip, and to a degree it may be a blessing that we aren't carrying the "unbeaten in the league" tag.
A bit bit of realism now. We can still have a better season than we have had for years, so let's enjoy it!

Our home form has always let us down
No team is ever going to win every game or even play well in every game. Three wins out of four is a fantastic start and after some of the games in pre-season came as a nice surprise.
We'll get back on track when we beat Southend. This season we need to do what we've never done at the Ricoh; be consistent and win games. Our home form has always let us down, hopefully this year will be different.
Without Maddison we are not the same team. If he is out, I see a slide coming like last season when Reda was out. I'm still not convinced about Burge and at this point I would still predict we'll finish nearer the bottom of the table than the top. Time will tell, it's very early days yet.
He has been a lynchpin in so much of our good play and his assist rate in goals we have scored is very high indeed.
Yes he has but Madders is v young and still developing. I don't think TM planned to use him for all/most games. We were going to play often without him. Unfortunately the injury has come when he was doing particularly well

I think we have to acknowledge that Saturday Mowbray was limited in what he could change when Maddison went off due to it being a match environment.
If it turns out he is going to be injured for a while I believe Mowbray will develop a style to play without him.
Hoping he isn't out for long but its not crisis mode if he is, it just means we will probably have to play a different way.
Well yep, that's surely what we will do. Maddison is quite a unique type of player to the squad we have, so we would have to alter our style and approach accordingly.
Yep which is why I wouldn't read too much into Saturday as of yet, its hard to change things too much in the middle of the match. Given time to prepare I think we will still do ok if we have to do without him for a run of games, I still think we're a better with him so its still a loss but I don't think there we will some sort of calamitous collapse without him.
I'm glad we've lost one.
