Saw this on twitter and decided to steal it:

If you could sign 3 players, 1 from each of the Championship, League 1 and League 2 which would you take to fit in our squad.

no budget and be as outlandish as you like.

Mine would be:
Championship - Kalvin Phillips
League 1 - Toney
League 2 - Perry Ng

Well I can’t see us signing anyone from the Premiership other than a kid or a loan so signing players from the EFL isn’t exactly the hardest prediction to make.

I think you missed the point of this thread....
Having read it again I see what you say, of what I saw last season ld look seriously at Shrewsbury centre half Pierre and Peterborough’s Ivan Toney if I can find a money tree somewhere, don’t know enough about championship players to be honest.

I may be putting 2 and 2 together and getting 97 but I noticed Marosi and Dabo both recently followed a player called Jordon Houghton who’s a midfielder for MK Dons, and by all accounts had a decent season for them. Looking into it more and he came through at Chelsea so maybe ties in with AV.

Probably nothing, but one to keep an eye on maybe.

I like your detective work, I spend an absurd amount of time over the summer checking players follows on twitter. Not going to be helped by lockdown.

TBF he looks to have spent time at Donny and knows Fanky from Chelsea, probably a no goer

Little look into him seems that he is a player in the mould of Liam Kelly and his contract is set to expire at the end of this month. Could be onto something.

Was on loan at Doncaster too. Don't think there's much in it other than being mates

What about from abroad? Seems to be our preference.
O'Hare...realistic and he knows what we're doing here
Walsh...realistic...same...
Politic....

He's only 16 (might be 17 now) and i honestly think he'll get better and better. Might not make as much of an impact as some older heads, but he'd still be my pick.

There’s no doubt he’ll make it. I was just surprised someone linked him with us :D

He’s being chased by a lot of clubs so can’t ever imagine him coming here
