Fantasy scenario:

All ‘core’ players kept
A centre back, or perhaps multiple centre backs, with the pace of Kalas, the leap of Ostigard and the skill on the ball of Beckenbauer.
An upgrade on Kelly to relieve dependence on Hamer and Sheaf. If Eccles can be kept fit, all is fine in that part of the pitch.
An upgrade on Shipley/Jones/Bright to take pressure off COH and again reduce dependence on him.

Around the sides, allow Waghorn to go and use his wages to aim for a PL loan.
Train up one or two of our permanent wing backs in taking long throws.
Get Walker to spend all summer in the gym-next season is both a clean slate and the last chance saloon for him.
Drill all the attacking players in when and where to be taking shots. Ideally not in the Tavern.

We lose any of the ‘core’ and they then have to be replaced on top of the above.

I think he was trying to say JCS would want more game time, and forgot the earlier injury which had him in the sidelines
No I was talking about his injury record. Why are we going to sign someone who will want a high wage but has only played 66% of the games since he's been with us due to injury. We already have enough injury prone players on the books.
