Given the result tonight and the other area final being more finely balanced at 1 nil is this likely to affect our chances of not being televised?

Was just going to post exactly the same thing.

Think that result tonight has blown any chance of the return leg being televised. For Sky they will think it is game over. The other match up will still look somewhat like it is still in the balance.

I don't think it's all over, but i bet Sky will.

Bound sure now to have the Orient Southend 2nd leg on for their scheduled game.

Shame if so. Am still very much looking forwards to the return leg.

I reckon ours could still be on TV. At the end of the day we have a larger fanbase so it would make sense.

What does it matter about our fan base ?? Please explain that one ??

Sky look to show matches that will have a larger viewing audience, which makes halftime advertisement space more valuable. By having a club with 40K+ fans wanting to watch, instead of a team with 10K+ it would be a more attractive feature to the general public, therby making it a more commercially viable match to screen.

Can't see ours being on sky now, the tie is all but over.

hopefully sky will take a gamble on the biggest comeback in jpt history

if we get 1 before half time it could get interesting

Sky will look for the most exciting game on paper, not for the tie that will have the biggest crowd.

Otis, I do not agree
They will want the game where more fans will want to watch not who will put on a better game.
Sky do not care about what's on tv it's who is watching.
