Not sure how true the rumours are but apparently 50k a week.
That's the only reason to join Disney FC. Really starting to hate them. Something well fishy about the financing. Obviously their fans have been though it for years but they are never a Champ/Prem team sustainably. Hopefully it goes tits up and they find their natural level .

looks like we’re planning for it already tried bidwell there and Lampard seemed to think he did ok,

Did he try him there with a view to playing him there in the league, or did he play him there as part of a mish-mash lineup to get minutes into players that needed it?

I suspect it was the latter.

There's no way we (willingly!) go into the season with Lati and Bidwell as our backup CBs.

What’s wrong with the deal

2 options … buy low with a high sell on %

or

Buy high with a lower sell on %

seems fair to me ….
The buy back being less than the total offer of the deal for is atrocious imo( £8 million compared to £7.5 million).

Then the sell on fee meaning if I have it right, Man City could trigger it and then take 25% of the profit back with them.

All their revenue comes from ‘commercial’ deals. It’s shit as they’re a tiny club but when you have people like Reynolds and McElhenney they’re going to be attractive to US investors.

The way football has gone, unfortunately. I hate it as much as the next person. Remember being a kid in the early 00’s and my dad said money had ruined football and that was back then, even truer now.

I'm pretty sure that Lampard has mentioned that Bidwell can and has played there. So that sounds more like trying him at CB rather than just minutes.

There was no point getting minutes into bidwell, when he’s 3rd choice LB, and he has played there before, lati can fill in when he‘s fit hopefully won’t see bidwell there again,

I don’t think it says the buy back fee is £7.5m … it’s poorly written

If you genuinely think thats a good deal then i fear for you.
He’s a quality player, for £5m. People moaning that it’s like a loan, he would have added to our squad even if it was a loan.

People watch Douglas’ pockets like it’s their inheritance money he’s spending. It’s embarrassing

You are the first to moan we dont buy quality. Now you advocate deals where its the equivalant of throwing money down the bog.
How is it throwing money down the toilet?

Worst case scenario he costs them £5m-£8m and they sell him for £7.5m. If thats the case he's had a storming season for them and its just the equivalent of a loan.

Worst case they lose money on him after he’s had a great season or two?

Mate that’s an awful deal imo. If you’re going to spend that much you deserve to demand however much you want.

If we had only got him on a loan you would still be holding up your hilarious 'Bling Out' banners

If it was called a season long loan everyone wouldn't be saying it. What is the real risk to Wrexham here?
