Coventry City have requested updated details regarding Tyrese Asante's situation, indicating their continued interest in his progress. Coventry remains in contention, while other clubs are also keeping an eye on the situation. The 23-year-old, who is currently with Maccabi Tel Aviv, has a contract extending until 2027, with an option for an extra year, suggesting that any transfer would require a substantial offer to convince Maccabi. The Dutch defender, who has experience with the Netherlands under-21 team, is drawing interest from multiple clubs, with Coventry and Ipswich being prominent contenders in the English market.

We were linked with him last year. Seems to be good at RB and CB, like a Lati but with actual pace.

If we don't sign him, real questions need to be asked of the owner.

There are lots of links in that chain of possibilities though aren’t there. It doesn't just come down to an owners lack of desire or ambition or willingness to sign him. There is another clubs will and a players preferences to consider.

Good don’t want to have no Dutch players if Milan leaves the last two have been my favourite players.

Ipswich have 10 defenders on the books and 10 attackers on the books, unless they can shift some players can't see them going in for these two proper, they are light in midfield with 5 hence why they bid 17.5 million for that Scandinavian lad.
