It would be a very good day if Dolan and KHH got done, be a massive statement. I can also see Toffolo turning up which really solves depth on either side with Brau getting time to settle in.

In my opinion KHH in doesn't automatically mean Milan is packing his bags, if the right money comes in it will be discussed if not we are building a very strong squad.

We are going to see exits no doubt but may not be the ones we automatically think.

Could you imagine…

KKH/MVE
Toffolo/Brau

Dolan/Sakamoto
EMC/Wright

Theres no way we are keeping MVE unless he signs a new deal. We will have to sell him..cant afford for him to leave for free.

Totally agree and we have had 2 great years form MVE. He deserves his move imo and he will be a decent fee. Been a great servant for our club but there is no way I can see him staying if we sign KHH.

We still need 2 players for the RB position. We absolutely cannot go into this season without any squad depth again.

I can see us looking for more versatile players mind - so that we have coverage by our signings in more than one position.

For example a backup RB who can play CB (someone like the Chelsea player on loan at Sheff Utd last year)
A RW who can play Striker (see a similar to Haji on the opposite side)

That would mean we only need to bring in 2 players to have decent cover for those 4 positions

Heerenveen have a large sell on fee with MVE, I believe it's 25% which put us at the front of the queue when we signed him. May mean we won't be able to do as much on the transfer market as us fans would like.

You need 2 good players in each position if you want to be promoted out of this division and to stand any chance of staying up. The good thing about signing KKH coming in is it means we can negotiate the best fee and sell-on fee for MvE. But both MvE and KKH being our RBs would mean we have the best pair of RBs in the division.

I like the Dolan signing if we can pull it off. Dolan and Sakamoto competing for the RW spot would mean we can play 1 for 60 mins at a fast tempo and then change them when they're tired, instead of hoping they last the full 90 which is what we have had to do for the last 2 season having only 1 RW.

Reading the Preston forum..they think £3.5m is a steal for this lad. Really hope this deal is done deal. They are commending our transfer strategy in recent years.

Lets say we get 15 mill. Leaves 11 1/4 mill on transfers

say KKH is 3 1/4

that's 8 to be at net zero (Yes i know wages, signing fees etcetc.) but still a bit to play with

Villa fans were hoping for double the price we are reportedly paying and are very disappointed at the 3.5M quoted. Looks like we've signed one of the best RBs in the league for a steal.

Cracking signing this! Looking at the Preston forum they think that we've got a really good player for cheap and have been complimenting how smart our recruitment is, also some think Preston are one of the 3 to get relegated next year 😂

Dolan seems a funny sort of winger for how Lampard wants to play, watching his reel there wasn’t much in the way of getting header height crosses over. I wonder if we’ll make some changes to how we set out.

Calm down, KKH is still only a rumour till there is an official announcement.
