Replacement sorted before we sell is always a positive sign. Assume KKH is coming in a a starter so maybe one of the Chelsea kids as backup ?

Hope Dolan is true, smart deal for a free/nominal fee and adds good depth on either flank.

It would be a very good day if Dolan and KHH got done, be a massive statement. I can also see Toffolo turning up which really solves depth on either side with Brau getting time to settle in.

In my opinion KHH in doesn't automatically mean Milan is packing his bags, if the right money comes in it will be discussed if not we are building a very strong squad.

We are going to see exits no doubt but may not be the ones we automatically think.

I'd be amazed if KKH came in not being instant first choice. To me it really reads like MVE is gone.

They will be rotated

Honestly, Sakamoto has all the hallmarks to be a top role player. He isn’t a player who gives enough offensively imo.

Dolan gives you more direct dribbling, chance creation, goalscoring, tackling, interceptions and recoveries.

Sakamoto is generally a better crosser of the ball and had a better xA in less minutes. Is significantly better in aerial duels.

Overall, FotMob has Dolan’s average match rating at 7.02 versus Sakamoto’s 6.80.

The thing that surprised me in the data was that Dolan was a lot better defensively than I expected and even having outperforming Sakamoto in the areas he’s above average in.

If we signed Dolan, he’s becoming a starter.

There is absolutely no way we have signed a backup right back for 3.5 million. He’s first choice. Milan is gone

I'd be amazed if they don't share the starting role.

I just cannot see Sakamoto being relegated to immediate backup.

Time will tell on KHH, Milan, Dolan and Tatsu, but if we get Dolan and KHH what a great problem to have as well as holding all the cards as all will be tied up in decent contracts.

Top start and gives FL lots of options for sure.

You don’t share starting positions. The season is 50+ games and players get injured so Sakamoto is never going to exiled.

Besides, he’s too good to be sidelined completely. If we intend to play 1 striker, we need both wingers to get close to 7-13 goals at least. Sakamoto’s xG has been consistent over both his seasons and hasn’t come close to that on xG. In his first season he scored several low xG chances.

Could you imagine…

KKH/MVE
Toffolo/Brau

Dolan/Sakamoto
EMC/Wright
